Smoked Mussels Toasties



Ingredients:

1 pound New Zealand Smoked Mussels
5 Slices White Bread
Toothpicks
Lime Wedges

Cooking Directions:

Remove crusts from bread slices.  Use a rolling pin to roll bread out to half its thickness.  Cut each piece of bread into 8 strips.  Roll a piece of bread around each smoked mussel and secure with a toothpick.  Brush with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes.  Serve with lime wedges.
